Religion Curriculum
Catholic teachings, prayer, and actions are infused into every subject area and activity. Our curriculum is designed for students to understand God's role in their lives. Good Shepherd follows the curriculum outlined by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
Service
As a faith community, we emphasize values which encourage students to commit themselves to serve God by serving others. The students are extremely active in stewardship in our community. Our Student Council organizes events to benefit others throughout the year. The Shepherd's Staff Service Club is a teacher and parent sponsored group open to students in grades 6th-8th, that goes out into the community to serve others in need.Sacraments
Sacramental preparation is an integral part of your child's education at Good Shepherd. Daily religion class and family involvement, prepare our students to receive the sacraments.- First Reconciliation-2nd Grade

Faith Families
Multi-age K-8 groups gather throughout the year for faith building lessons, service projects, and fun school events. Faith families are led by a teachers and parents. Students remain in the same faith family from year to year building relationships with others in the school community.
