Religion Curriculum
At Good Shepherd, Catholic teachings, prayer, and faith in action are woven into every subject and activity. Our curriculum helps students understand God’s presence in their lives. Good Shepherd follows the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kansas curriculum.
Service
As a faith community, we emphasize values that inspire students to serve God by serving others. Our students are actively involved in community stewardship. The Student Council organizes events throughout the year to help others, while the Shepherd’s Staff Service Club, sponsored by teachers and parents for grades 6–8, takes students into the community to serve those in need.Sacraments
Sacramental preparation is a key part of education at Good Shepherd. Daily religion classes, combined with family involvement, guide students as they prepare to receive the sacraments.- First Reconciliation-2nd Grade

Faith Families
Students in grades K–8 join multi-age faith families throughout the year for lessons, service projects, and school events. Led by teachers and parents, these groups stay together each year, allowing students to build lasting relationships across the school community.
