Hello Band Families!
If you received this email, your student is signed up for Advanced Band! Rehearsals start tomorrow morning; we rehearse Tuesdays and Thursday mornings at 7:25 AM. I will have the music room door unlocked and open for students at 7:10 AM if they would like to get there early to set up.
Please encourage your student to practice at home! They will be receiving a lot of music on day one that we will go over together in rehearsal, but I highly recommend they take some time at home to work on it and to get back into the habit of playing their instrument. I'm still working on a potential practice tool for them at home, stay tuned.
Finally, Mr. Burgess, the band director at St. Thomas Aquinas, is inviting middle school students to play in their pep band for an evening! Information attached and sign up with the link below. One student went last year and had an absolute blast!
