GS Beginning Band Update - 9/24

Hello Beginning Band Families!

We are almost a month into band and the students are doing a great job! They can play three notes solidly and learning more and more every rehearsal.

Since we are a month in, it's about time for brass baths. About once a month trumpets and trombones need to give their instrument a bath in lukewarm soapy water to keep slides and valves working well. Please help your student with this process! It can be difficult to take the instrument apart and put it back together correctly. Finally, keep encouraging your student to play their instrument at home! The more they play, the more steady of progress they will make.
