Hello, my name is Danielle Chidester and I am beginning my eighth year at Good Shepherd, with it being my sixth year in the Resource Center. I am so excited to continue working with many of the students of Good Shepherd individually as well as in small groups to support the students in their academic success. Prior to being a Resource Teacher at Good Shepherd, I had the opportunity to teach 2nd grade for two years. Furthermore, I completed a long-term substitute teaching job at Good Shepherd in spring 2017. I also taught full-time for three years prior to finishing my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Emporia State University and my Master’s Degree from Avila University.
I look forward to the opportunity to share the Catholic faith with all the students I work with this year as we grow and learn many new things!
