Purpose
The Good Shepherd School Advisory Committee (SAC) exists at the discretion of the pastor and principal and serves in a strictly consultative capacity.
Function
The council serves as a sounding board for the principal. When called upon, the council provides feedback to the principal and pastor regarding school policies and standards. Administrators are responsible for developing methods and programs to implement these policies. Matters involving curriculum, personnel, and individual student concerns of a confidential nature fall solely under the responsibility of the administrators and pastor and are not topics for council consideration.
School Council members are appointed by the pastor in consultation with the principal.
