I will be teaching Science, Technology, and STEM at Good Shepherd this year. Throughout the year, I'll be updating pictures of activities and events happening both in and out of the classroom, so please check back often.

Please review your child's Google Classroom page with them. Important announcements, copies of paperwork, study guides, and root word lists will be posted there. I also upload many of the assignment pages to Google Classroom in case someone forgets the paper at school.

Welcome to 7th-grade Science. This year, we will cover biology, physics, and ecology. The topics we will cover this year are: Life's essential structure and function, Growth and reproduction of organisms, Chemical processes in ecosystems, and Changes in Earth's surface. We will have a variety of labs we do throughout the year.  We will have a dissection in the spring. This is a general introduction to dissection and should not be worried about. 

I will teach STEM this year to all K-8th Graders in our building. Each grade will have specific modules they will be teaching. we are finalizing the exact modules per grade. Check back in a couple of weeks for an update. 

In 8th grade, we will cover the following topics this year: Force and Motion, Human impact of the Ecosystem, Change in populations over time, Waves, Weather and Climate, and Non-contact forces and fields.  We will complete a variety of labs throughout the year. At the end of the year, we will complete a dissection in class.
