Protecting God's Children

Good Shepherd Catholic School strives to maintain a safe and secure environment for all children. Every adult who has contact with children through activities in the church, school, or as a coach for sports within the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is required to attend a one-time three hour session, with possible follow-up bulletins through the VIRTUS website. This program provides essential information to help safeguard children, identify those at risk, and teaches best practices for anyone responsible for their care. Sessions are offered at various parishes in the city throughout the year.
